Exposition of the Divine Principle

Exposition of the Divine Principle is the main theological textbook of the Unification Church and FFWPU. The text presents itself as a new revelation from God, given through the Reverend Sun Myung Moon. The term “Divine Principle” is also used by Unificationists to refer to a metaphysical concept of divine truth, of which the text is only an imperfect human expression.

The Divine Principle follows the format of systematic theology, basing its insights on exegesis of the Bible. The content starts with God’s purpose in creating human beings, the fall of man, mission of the Messiah and redemption, the process through history by which God is working to remove the ill effects of the human fall and restore humanity back to the relationship and position that God originally intended.

This revelation, based on the New Testament, has the power to bring all religions together.

CHEON SEONG GYEONG Selections from the Speeches of True Parents

CHEON SEONG GYEONG Selections from the Speeches of True Parents

Some 500 volumes of Reverend Moon’s speeches have thus far been published. These include 412 volumes in the series compiling the transcripts of his speeches given over half a century.

Selections from these, arranged by theme, have been compiled into sixteen books contained in a single volume, which the Rev and Mrs Moon have titled Cheon Seong Gyeong (天聖經). In reference to this book, Rev Moon explained: “This is the holy book for the Kingdom of Heaven. In Cheon Seong Gyeong, the word cheon consists of the Chinese characters meaning two (二) and people (人). When you think of who the two central people in a family are, you think of the husband and wife. The separation of heaven and earth came about because a husband and a wife in the garden of Eden lost the way to love. Therefore, in order for heaven and earth to reach completion, these two people (天) must follow the holy (聖) way ((經) in which they must love completely. This way is elucidated in Cheon Seong Gyeong.” He added, “Cheon Seong Gyeong defines the way for two people to walk towards holiness; this way is none other than the family.”

True Family: Gateway to Heaven

Introduced in this book is a part of the historical and providential messages from Heaven that Reverend Moon has taught before all humanity.

It is a collection of the words given from the 1950s for decades until now and the reader may feel that the same words are given again and again. This can be compared to the fact that, though Spring comes every year, no two Springs are ever alike.
